About Sydney

We learn how to live and love through our relationships. They shape how we understand ourselves, how safe we feel expressing our needs, and how we show up for the people who matter most. As a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, I work with individuals, couples, and families who are curious about their relational patterns and ready to explore new ways of connecting. I believe healing is not a solitary process—it happens between people—and that meaningful, secure relationships are possible for everyone.

My approach is experiential and relational, focusing on what’s happening for you in the present moment. Rather than only talking about your experiences, we pay attention to how emotions live in your body and in your relationships. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and strategic approaches to help identify patterns that once served you but may now feel limiting. Together, we slow things down, get curious, and practice new ways of responding that foster greater safety, closeness, and understanding—with others and with yourself.

I work from a holistic, intersectional lens and view therapy as a collaborative process. I don’t see myself as the expert on your life; instead, we partner in discovery, practicing new ways of relating in real time. My goal is to create a space that feels supportive, honest, and inclusive—one where emotions are welcomed and all parts of you are allowed to exist.

Outside the therapy room, I feel most grounded near the ocean, especially while scuba diving—a practice that continually reinforces presence, trust, and attunement. At home, I’m joined by my cat, Phoebe, and find balance through movement, curiosity, and connection. These are qualities I intentionally bring into my work with clients.

If you’re seeking a therapist who believes in the power of emotional connection, relational healing, and your ability to build a life that feels true to you, I would be honored to work alongside you.
