Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
Relationships - whether with partners, family, friends, or ourselves - are at the heart of who we are.
Relationships – whether with partners, family, friends, or ourselves – are at the heart of who we are. As a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, I work with individuals, couples, and families to explore how relationships intersect with identity, culture, and life experiences. Together, we look at the stories you have carried – some handed down through generations, some shaped by your own lived experiences – and explore how to rewrite the ones that no longer serve you into narratives that foster connection, healing, and resilience.
My approach is trauma-informed and deeply relational, blending Narrative and Experiential techniques to help you feel grounded in your own truth and empowered in your choices. Whether we are unpacking old patterns, strengthening emotional bonds, or navigating life transitions, I aim to create a safe and brave space, free from judgment, where you can bring your whole self into the room. Intersectionality matters here; your identities, history, and values all deserve space and respect.
Therapy with me is not about me telling you who you should be – it is about us working together to uncover what feels most authentic for you. I see myself as a guide and collaborator, helping you find new perspectives, deepen emotional awareness, and practice ways of relating that support the life and relationships you want to build. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions so that you can choose the environment that feels safest and most accessible for you.
When I am not in session, you will often find me wandering through the Denver Botanic Gardens, rollerblading around town, practicing aerial yoga, skiing in the mountains, cuddling with my cat Suki, singing my lungs out in my car, or spending time with friends. I am also an avid plant mom who loves tending to my little indoor garden. These joys outside of therapy keep me grounded, playful, and creative – qualities I bring into my work with clients.
If this resonates with you, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your therapy journey, helping you connect more deeply with yourself and the people you love.
